We are thrilled to finally reveal that Jill Scott MBE is confirmed as the headliner of our 2023 Employee Engagement Summit, which will take place at The Brewery in London on the 19th of April. The Women’s Euro 2022 Champion, Queen of the Jungle and Soccer Aid Captain will present the audience with a thought-provoking session on creating a culture that breeds success, how to gain leadership buy-in and how to navigate the toughest of circumstances in order to succeed.

UNPARALLELED SUCCESSES

The influential midfielder is known for a number of successes, including being one of the few Lionesses to have more than 150 caps. In addition to this, Jill featured at 9 major tournaments and earned the winners’ medal when the England Lionesses made history by winning EURO 2022.

Delving deeper into her successes, we must highlight a few of her key strikes, namely the winner in the EURO 2009 semi-final, the equaliser in EURO 2017 qualifying, and the finish that sealed England’s place at France 2019.

While Jill announced her retirement from football last autumn, she retired as the second-highest capped player. Moreover, she retired after having won every domestic honour, including the Women’s Super League title with City and four women’s FA Cups.

Jill’s incredible accomplishments do not stop there, as the professional footballer was also voted FA Players’ Player of the Year and FA International Player of the Year. Last but not least, she was appointed an MBE in the 2020 New Year Honours for Services to women’s football.

To round off an exceptional 2022, Jill went on to win the heart of the nation and be crowned Queen of the Jungle in ITV’s I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! after her much-loved personality shone through as she united campmates and faced her fears throughout many gruelling challenges.

To kick-start 2023, Jill has also just been announced as the Captain of the England XI in this year’s Soccer Aid match versus the Rest of the World. Jill is the first female captain of the team and hopes to lead celebrities and other football legends to success including Gary Neville, Jermain Defoe, Paul Scholes, Tom Grennan, Steven Bartlett, Lee Mack and more.
