Murphy Group People and Communications DirectorDawn is Group Director of People and Communications for Murphy, overseeing the People and Communications strategy and activities for all of Murphy operations across the UK, Ireland and North America. Dawn has 30 years of professional experience and is also an experienced non-executive director, having held roles in the public, private and third sectors.
Dawn has received numerous awards over the last 5 years for her work on culture change, people strategy, learning and development and diversity and inclusion – work which has made a tangible difference to the organisations she has worked for and which others have learned from. In 2024, Murphy won numerous awards for its People strategy, including the CIPD’s Best Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Initiative and the Investors in People Award for Learning and Development.
Outside of work Dawn enjoys time with her two young daughters and mentoring aspiring executives from a variety of backgrounds to help them achieve their potential.

A trusted advisor to the CEO, Leadership team and the Board. A member of the global HR Leadership team, and multiple executive committees, including the UK executive committee and the governance committee.
