In our latest episode we meet with Ross Marshall, Wellbeing, Reward and Recognition Lead at London Borough of Havering, a passionate advocate for a holistic approach to wellbeing. Ahead of his appearance at our upcoming Employee Engagement Summit, Ross shares a preview of his session, where he’ll explore what wellbeing truly means—beyond the often narrow focus on mental health. He’ll discuss the importance of seeing wellbeing as a multi-faceted concept and how individuals can build a personalised wellbeing toolbox to support their own health and happiness.

London Borough of Havering Wellbeing, Reward and Recognition Lead

Ross Marshall is a dedicated Wellbeing Reward and Recognition Lead at the London Borough of Havering, where he plays a pivotal role in the Human Resources & Organisational Development department. With a strong background in administration, employment & training, social enterprise, and PMO, Ross brings a wealth of experience to his current role. He is a certified Mental Health First Aider, known for his exceptional communication and listening skills.

In his role, Ross is responsible for delivering a professional wellbeing service that aligns with 4 strategic pillars of wellbeing (Physical, Psychological, Social and Financial) and positively influences the employee experience. He leads the wellbeing aspects of the total reward approach, including recognition, wellbeing and health, staff forums, and engagement.

Chrissie is an inclusivity and retention trainer, speaker and career coach. Chrissie has a decade of experience leading teams in fast-growth start-ups, including as an early-stage team member at Deliveroo and heading up Global Operations at Bolt. Passionate about Gender Equity and people-orientated leadership, Chrissie previously led the Gender Equity efforts at Deliveroo, spearheading the first woman-focused mentoring scheme, as well as introducing Accelerate, Deliveroo's programme for high-potential women. Chrissie was recently featured as a 'Women to Watch' in Tourism, Hospitality and Leisure by WIHTL.
