Stephanie Garforth
ASOS Head of Culture Change
Stephanie is a dual-national Australian-British Chinese Business Psychologist who brings over 15 years’ experience helping organisations translate people strategy into meaningful commercial impact. Combining behavioural science, coaching, and strategic HR, she partners with businesses to align culture, talent, and performance to drive transformation and growth.
She is currently Head of Culture Change at ASOS, having joined following a significant organisational and commercial transformation. Her work focuses on embedding a high-performing, inclusive culture, strengthening colleague engagement, enabling behavioural change, and supporting sustainable business performance.
Her experience spans healthcare, FMCG, financial services, media, and the public sector, working with organisations including GSK/Haleon, the NHS, Odeon, Carlsberg, and Associated British Foods.
She has led global talent strategy through periods of transformation, driving improvements in leadership capability, diversity, and organisational performance. She also played a key role in activating an award-winning EVP during the demerger and listing of Haleon.
Alongside her industry work, she is completing a Professional Doctorate in Occupational Psychology at Birkbeck, focusing on inclusive leadership and organisational performance. She also lectures at UK business schools, serves on the Quartz Network HR Advisory Board, and is a Non-Executive Director for a Community Interest Organisation.
